Volunteers needed to captain teams for U120 and U140
Warwickshire Chess Association are seeking volunteers to captain teams in the Under 140 and Under 120 County Championship in 2014/15. To express an interest, please contact Alex Holowczak before 31st July. If there are no volunteers by the passing of the deadline, then these teams will not run next season.

Warwickshire Congress Results
Ameet Ghasi won the open with a score of 4.5/5. The major was won by Robert Taylor with a score of 4.5/5. In the intermediate section Rajagopal Panicker and Stephen Williams shared first place with a score of 4/5. 4NCL Weekend 1 Match Results
The first team are playing in division 2 this season. They beat Cambridge University 2 5-3 on the Saturday and beat Wessex 4.5-3.5 on the Sunday. With 2 wins out of 2 they are in 2nd place with 4 points. Full Results The second team did not fair as well, losing 3.5-2.5 to Iceni 2 and losing 4.5-1.5 to Leeds University Old Boys.
