Junior News 2016-17

The Kenilworth Junior Open took place on Sunday 18th June 2017. There were 74 junior players who participated in the competition. Medals were awarded to players who scored well in their sections. Full Results

The Warwickshire Megafinal took place on Sunday 14th May 2017. The winner of each section is given the title of Supremo (boys) or Suprema (girls). The top player from each section and all those scoring at least 4/6 or better qualify for the Gigafinal. Full Results.

The Warwick Junior Open took place on Saturday 8th April 2017. There were 72 junior players who participated in the competition. Medals were awards to players who scored well in their sections. Full Results.

The Warwick Junior Open is being held at Warwick Preparatory School on Saturday 8th April 2017. This is a tournament for players aged under 11. The Birmingham Junior Open took place on Sunday 19th February. There were 114 junior players who participated in the competition. Medals were awarded to players who scored well in the U9, U11 and U18 sections. Prize money was awarded to players finishing in the top 3 in the masters section. Full Results

The Birmingham Junior Open is being held at King Edwards School in Birmingham on Sunday 19th February 2017. This is a tournament for players aged under 9, 11 and 18. Cash prizes can be won in the master section and medals can be won in the age group sections. Please check that you are eligible to play before entering. The online entry form is now available. Warwickshire will be hosting a Four Counties tournament on Sunday 27th November at Lawrence Sheriff School in Rugby. The four counties involved in the tournament are Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Oxfordshire. There will be sections for U11 and U9. Games will be ECF graded.
